Individual Therapy

Individual therapy involves meeting with a therapist one-on-one

  • Meet with a licensed psychologist to create goals, conquer obstacles, change unhelpful patterns, learn ways to handle difficult situations, or grow as a person. People often choose to go to individual therapy because of stress, sadness, anxiety, anger, problematic behaviors, and many other difficulties. There is no single type of person who "needs" therapy, as each person's difficulties are unique and extremely personal.

  • Waymark Psychology uses evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Your treatment will always remain informed by science and tailored to fit your needs.

  • Finding someone you are a good fit with is important in therapy. The therapeutic relationship can be just as meaningful as the topics discussed in each session. Waymark Psychology offers a free consultation as an obligation-free way for you to meet your potential therapist. When you are ready to explore how individual therapy can help, call or email Waymark Psychology to schedule a brief free-of-cost consultation in person or over the phone.
